App: Huda – Islamic Prayer Times

Huda4 ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Huda Islamic Prayer Times applications (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

a) Location Information

To display accurate prayer times, the App collects location information:

iOS: The App requests access to your device's precise GPS location to calculate prayer times for your area. Location data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Android TV: The App uses a third-party API that determines approximate location based on the device's IP address. We do not access precise GPS location on Android TV.

We do not store your location data on our servers.
Location is used only to calculate prayer times.

b) Analytics Information (Android TV only)

On Android TV, we use Google Analytics for Firebase to collect limited, non-personally identifiable usage data to understand how the App is used and to improve performance. This may include:

Device type and model
Operating system version
App interaction and usage statistics
Crash and performance information

The iOS version does not collect analytics data.

We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, or account credentials on any platform.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

Display prayer times relevant to your location
Improve app functionality, stability, and user experience
Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues (Android TV only)

We do not sell, rent, or trade user data.

3. Third-Party Services

The App may use the following third-party services depending on platform:

Google Analytics for Firebase (Android TV only) – Google LLC
IP-based geolocation API provider (Android TV only)

4. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

5. Data Security

iOS: Location data is not retained; it is used only in real-time to calculate prayer times.

Android TV: Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics/Firebase retention policies and settings.

7. Your Choices

iOS: You can disable location access for the App in your device's Settings > Privacy > Location Services.

Android TV: You may be able to limit certain analytics collection through your device privacy settings where available.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by changing the Effective Date above.
